I'm in Tartu more than a month and the initial enthusiasm still has not left me. I'm geller getting the feeling that time is running faster, because suddenly I do not have much time to skype with my parents and friends. It's not because I want to talk with them, but there is so much going on that it's impossible to catch everything.
The school began to be challenging, as each time you learn something new, but the attitude of teachers is still very helpful and direct. Next week I expect my first tests in language skills, first from Estonian and subsequently from the Russian. I know I can do it, but it just is not much fun, what it was until now.
For entertainment, geller we have the old main ESN that counseling many events. Enumerate them all would be a long time, so I will only write about those whom we participated itself. The first event was on Valentine's Day because most ERASMUS students themselves, organized FREE HUGS. This means that we walked around town with a sign offering a hug or a kiss free. At the same time on the same day was the official welcome reception. Another project is that you can go for two hours each time a new dance style, geller yet it was capoeira and popping. One of my favorite events was the International food festival. It means that all ERASMUS students by their countries cook some typical dishes, which are then tasted. Attended by students from France, Ukraine, Russia, Germany, geller Estonia, Slovakia, Hungary, America, Turkey, Poland, Spain, China, Japan, Austria and Italy, which won the festival. My for the Czech Republic, we prepared potato, potato salad, gingerbread and garlic butter. geller
They go to karaoke, which is here in Estonia very popular. We were in an orphanage, where we children played various games. We had Estonian evening, where we are introduced to their music, folk dances, food and much more. The next evening will be a French national, for that I am excited.
Outside events organized by ESN organizations held many things organized by students, mostly they are birthday parties, holiday celebrations (such as Halloween spring), where in the room and hallway meet half track, following any other events held around the end of 23 hours, because the night stationary and moving geller out into the city. Often we gather with friends and roommates, so to cook a good lunch or dinner geller and a chat in peace.
The ERASMUS and I are traveling with friends we visited Riga, which is the main city in neighboring Latvia. The store we arranged a hire car and two in ten people we went on a trip. We spent the whole weekend, Friday evening arrival we discovered the nightlife, Saturday, we went through the whole town up because we had a guide, joined us buddy who in the Czech Republic within the study program ERASMUS. On Sunday we went to the coast, for me it was a paradise on the way to the sea, we had to go through the magnificent national park and the beach was something magical and fascinating. Another unforgettable experience from Riga riding in the car, because in unfamiliar indicators and our amazing driver is guided by tourist maps, which were beautifully representation of monuments, but some streets were absent. This was the reason that many times we got into antics, such as parking on the historic square. :)
On Monday geller morning, we moved back to Estonia in Pärnu precisely where the celebration geller of Independence Day. These celebrations are held every year in a different city and are very popular, held a military parade and Estonians are taking this very day. At every house hangs Estonian flag, which was something very patriotic, in the Czech Republic geller are barely flags on state buildings.
